White Elephant Gift Exchange (NEW!)

🎁 Join our first-ever White Elephant Gift Exchange! Bring a wrapped, gently used or preowned item worth $10 or less (silly or serious, your choice).

Drop off your gift inside the shelter between 4:00-5:45pm to receive a ticket. At 6:00pm, trade your ticket for a surprise gift and open together with your neighbors!

There will be separate tables for kids under 18 and adults 18 and over, so plan your gift accordingly. You must be present at 6:00pm to participate.

Horse & Carriage Rides

🐴 Experience the magic of the season with a horse-drawn carriage ride through Elvehjem! Whether you’re young or young at heart, it’s an enchanting journey for all. Rides are first-come, first-serve, so arrive early to get on the list. We’re fundraising again to keep this cherished tradition alive – details below on how you can help!

Cozy Bonfire

🔥 Gather around a crackling bonfire to warm up with neighbors old and new as we safely burn pallet wood, creating the perfect atmosphere for conversation and connection under the winter sky.

Soup Potluck

🥣 Bring a crockpot of your favorite soup to share! We’ll provide ladles, labels, and a power strip, so all you need is the soup. Fill out this short form to sign-up for our soup potluck.

Food & Drink

☕ Enjoy sweet treats and a cup of piping hot cocoa as you mingle in the park.

Santa Claus is Coming!

🎅 Santa will be stopping by! Kids will have their first opportunity of the season to meet Santa, and we encourage you to snap some festive photos of the moment.

Each year we ask for help from attendees to pay for the most magical attraction at our event! The horse & carriage is our biggest expense, so rather than remove it from the event to save costs we ask for donations to help pay for it!
