Dan Collins
PRESIDENT
My wife Cara and I moved to the neighborhood in 2017. We live with our two daughters and our border collie. I own an online video piano lesson business called HDpiano and Cara is a band director at Monona Grove High School. I enjoy writing and recording songs as “Dan Collins and a Piano,” and I spend my free time disc golfing, gardening, following Wisconsin sports, and building things. I grew up in Waunakee, went to college in La Crosse, spent five years in Chicago, and I’m thrilled to be contributing to the neighborhood as a member of the board.

Pete Schramm
VICE PRESIDENT
My wife, Lindsay, and I bought our house on Brynwood Drive in 2019, where we live with our two cats, Scoober and Schlade. I’m a lifelong Madisonian, having grown up just across Cottage Grove Road in Heritage Heights. I graduated from LaFollette High School and attended UW-Madison.
I currently work for the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services as a licensing exam specialist, and I also serve as President of the Madison Ultimate Frisbee Association. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and exploring the city on my bike. I also have a borderline unhealthy obsession with Badger sports and the Eurovision Song Contest.
I’m excited to help keep the Elvehjem neighborhood a vibrant and wonderful place to live!

My family moved to Elvehjem in late 2021 - just in time for the Halloween bonfires. (What a warm welcome!) Originally from the east coast (DC / Boston / NYC), I've lived in Madison since 2017. My husband, Drew, grew up in Wisconsin, works in building automation systems, and is an avid golfer and guitar player. After previous stints in educational finance and non-profit program management, I currently stay busy at home with our two little boys. I enjoy improv & stand-up comedy, and have very strong feelings about Olympic figure skating. As a member of the board, I love planning fun events and other opportunities to be neighborly!

Dylan Crye
TREASURER
My wife Alyson and I moved to our Deerwood home in 2018. It was a homecoming for me since I attended Elvehjem Elementary and used to deliver the Echo growing up on Woodvale. After moving back from college in Eau Claire, I earned my master’s degree at UW and now work as a program manager for Focus on Energy. Alyson has called Madison home ever since she arrived as a freshman at UW, and she’s now an administrator at UW-Madison.
You can often find us walking our rescue pup, Coco around the neighborhood or cruising on our bikes down to Olbrich or Garver Mill. I’m excited to give back to the neighborhood that helped raise me.

My family and I moved to Elvehjem in June 2017. My wife, Becka Robbins, and I have two children, Ezra and Sam, who are proud Bobcats. We also share our home with our dog, Templeton. I’ve lived in Madison since 2005, though I’m originally from Pennsylvania and have also lived in England. I enjoy reading, cooking, listening to music, riding my bike, and traveling.
I’ve worked at Epic since 2005, taking on various roles, including technical writing, implementation consulting, project leadership, and sales proposals. Before that, I managed a coffee shop and was a DJ on a freeform public radio station. Over the years, I’ve also served on boards of directors in roles such as Vice President, Treasurer, Community Relations Director, and Chairman.
I’m excited to contribute to keeping Elvehjem an amazing place to live!

DIRECTOR AT LARGE
I have lived in Elvehjem for four years, and have been back in Madison since 2007 after having lived here for a while as a much younger person. I enjoy living on the east side for its proximity to Milwaukee, which I visit often. I have two young adult children who live in Madison, sometimes with me.
I have been on the Board of Directors for almost three years—it has been a great way to experience and to give back to the community. I am in charge of the Easter Egg Hunt, and love helping out with all of our other events as well.

My wife Amanda and I moved to the LVM neighborhood in 2015. I run my own business, Washburn Laserworks, and can often be found working in my garage/shop or playing my drums. Amanda enjoys working from home for American Family Insurance. We have a 2-year-old son and a family dog named Murray, and we’re also raising and training two service dogs that will go on to help veterans once they graduate.
As a family, we love traveling, camping, and spending evenings around a bonfire. I’m excited to serve the community and get to know our neighbors better!

CJ Rouse
DIRECTOR AT LARGE
My wife Caley, our two kids Oliver and Eliott, and I moved to Madison in 2022 to be closer to the transplant clinic. Before relocating, I served as an alderman in the City of Racine and was active as a community outreach specialist, volunteer, coach, and event organizer.
Though we’re new to Madison and the Elvehjem neighborhood, my family and I are thrilled to be part of such a strong, welcoming community. We’re committed to showing our children the joy of playing an active role in positive efforts and working to uplift those around us.
In addition to serving on the neighborhood association board, I’m involved with the LVM PTO, where I also founded a walking school bus program. I’m currently working toward becoming a legislative aide and collaborating with local and state governments to enact policy changes and advocate for the needs of Madison residents.

My wife Lisa and I have lived in Madison since 1989. We have two young adult children, our son Drew and daughter Dareon.
Before becoming a Pastor at City Church I was on staff at Mad City Church on the East side of Madison. I have been an Associate Pastor at City Church since 2010 until the present.
I enjoy fishing, spending time with family, and most of all barbecuing ribs and cooking briskets on the smoker.

I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, and moved to the neighborhood in 2021. When people ask why I love Madison, my answer is simple: the beauty of its culture. I’ve lived in other incredible places, like San Diego, known for its beaches and sunshine, but Madison feels like home because of its strong sense of community. Here, people come together to create safe spaces where everyone feels valued, supported, and connected.
I moved to Madison for love, marrying my best friend, a local general contractor. Together, we share a passion for building and enriching our community. I’ve embraced the "cheesy" culture and enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and walking to take in Madison's natural beauty.
I proudly balance two careers: my corporate role at SVA—A Professional Services Company—and my work as a Real Estate agent, helping people find their dream homes and investment opportunities. Both careers allow me to connect with others and make a meaningful impact.
I’m excited to contribute to the board and give back to this incredible neighborhood that has welcomed me so warmly.
