President Dan Collins

Dan and his wife Cara moved to the neighborhood in 2017. They live with their two daughters and border collie. Dan owns and operates an online video piano lesson business called HDpiano. His wife is a band director at Monona Grove High School. He enjoys writing and recording songs as “Dan Collins and a Piano” and his hobbies include disc golf, gardening, Wisconsin Sports, and building things. He grew up in Waunakee and went to college in La Crosse and is enjoying contributing to the neighborhood on the board.

Vice President Pete Schramm

Pete and his wife Lindsay bought their house on Brynwood Drive in 2019, They live with their two cats, Scoober and Schlade. Pete is a lifelong Madisonian growing up just across Cottage Grove Road in Heritage Heights. graduating from LaFollette and attending UW-Madison. He currently works for the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services as a licensing exam specialist, and he also acts as President of the Madison Ultimate Frisbee Association. He enjoys travelling, reading, and being out and about on his bike. He also fosters a borderline unhealthy obsession with Badger sports and the Eurovision Song Contest. Pete is excited to help keep the Elvehjem Neighborhood a vibrant and wonderful place to live.

Secretary Kristy Bark

Kristy and her husband, Drew, moved to the neighborhood in late 2021. Originally from the east coast (DC / Boston / NYC), Kristy has lived in Madison since 2017. Drew grew up in Wisconsin, works for Johnson Controls on building automation systems, and is an avid golfer and guitar player. After previous stints in educational finance and non-profit program management, Kristy is currently staying busy at home with their two little boys, James & George. She enjoys improv & stand-up comedy, loves to travel, and has surprisingly strong feelings about Olympic figure skating. Kristy looks forward to serving the neighborhood on the board - planning fun events and other opportunities to be neighborly!

Treasurer Jacob Wright

Jacob and his family moved to Elvehjem in June 2017. He and his wife (Becka Robbins) have two children: Ezra and Sam are Bobcats. They also have a dog, Templeton. Jacob has lived in Madison since 2005, though he’s originally from Pennsylvania and has also lived in England. He loves to read, cook, listen to music, ride his bicycle, and travel. Jacob has worked at Epic since 2005 in various positions including technical writing, implementation consulting, project leadership, and sales proposals. Before that, he managed a coffee shop, and he was a DJ on a freeform public radio station. He has also served on BODs at various times as a Vice President, Treasurer, Community Relations Director, and Chairman. He’s excited to contribute to keeping Elvehjem awesome!

A native Wisconsinite, I lived in another Big 10 town for many years. My family and I returned to Wisconsin in 2007 so the kids could grow up with their cousins and be closer to their grandparents.

We have lived in Elvehjem since the summer of 2020. I enjoy exploring the East side, and being able to visit my mom easily in Milwaukee.

Director at Large Bob Washburn

Bob and Amanda moved into the LVM neighborhood in 2015. Bob runs his own business, Washburn Laserworks, and can often be seen working in his garage/shop or heard playing his drums. Amanda enjoys working from home for American Family Insurance. They have a 2-year-old son and a family dog named Murray. They are raising and training 2 service dogs that will go to help veterans when they graduate.

The family enjoys traveling, camping and bonfires! Bob looks forward to serving the community and getting to know the neighbors.

Director at Large CJ Rouse

CJ Rouse, his Wife Caley, and two Kids Oliver and Eliott moved to Madison in 2022 for better access to the transplant clinic. Prior to moving CJ served as an alderman in the City of Racine, community outreach specialist, volunteer, coach, and event organizer.

While new to Madison and the Elvehjem neighborhood, CJ and family are excited to be a part of this strong community and continue to show our children how to find joy in playing an active role in positive efforts as well as working to uplift those around us.

Aside from the neighborhood association board, CJ serves on the LVM PTO, founded a walking school bus program at LVM, is working to become a legislative aide, and works with local and state government to enact policy changes and bring attention to the needs of Madison residents.

Director at Large Kim Richman

Kim is a life-long Madison resident growing up on the Eastside. He and his wife Patty moved into the Elvehjem neighborhood in 1982. They have 2 adult kids.

Retired from full-time, he's a crossing guard for the Monona Police Department and is a Madison election official.

Kim is the founder and coordinator of the Buckeye-Grove Good Neighbor Project and is the Secretary of the Board of Madison Area Crime Stoppers.

He volunteers with a variety of organizations that are related to neighborhood safety, and organizations that provide meals for the less fortunate.

As an advocate for safe neighborhoods, he encourages neighbors to connect, communicate, and come together. Safe caring neighborhoods start with good neighbors.

Director at Large Dylan Crye

Dylan and his wife Alyson moved to their Deerwood home in 2018. This was a homecoming of sorts for Dylan who attended Elvehjem Elementary and delivered the Echo growing up on Woodvale. Since moving home from college in Eau Claire, Dylan has earned his masters at UW and is now a program manager for Focus on Energy. Alyson has called Madison home ever since she arrived as a freshman at UW, and is now an administrator at UW-Madison.

Aly & Dyl can often be seen walking their foster pups around the neighborhood or cruisin' on their bikes down to Olbrich or Garver Mill. Dylan is eager to give back to the neighborhood that helped raise him.

Director at Large Andrew Henderson

My wife Lisa and I have lived in Madison since 1989. We have two young adult children, our son Drew and daughter Dareon.

Before becoming a Pastor at City Church I was on staff at Mad City Church on the East side of Madison. I have been an Associate Pastor at City Church since 2010 until the present.

I enjoy fishing, spending time with family, and most of all barbecuing ribs and cooking briskets on the smoker.

I joined the ENA because of my role as a local Pastor with the philosophy that while we are a church, we are and should be neighborly to the community around us.

Director at Large Lynne Ostrowski

Lynne and her husband, John, moved to the Elvehjem neighborhood in 2022. Previously, Lynne was a longtime resident of Monona, WI, where she raised her daughter and their family dog, Charlie. She grew up in Appleton and furthered her education at both UW Stevens Point and Madison College, majoring in theater and English Education.

Now in retirement, Lynne is connecting with her community by volunteering with various groups to share her interests, hobbies, and passions. She's currently a member of Who's New in Madison, Inc., and The League of Women Voters. Lynne looks forward to creating fun, eventful, and inspiring ways to connect newcomers with established neighbors.
