  • The Elvehjem Neighborhood Association is a 100% volunteer-run organization that depends on the financial support of our neighborhood! Your $20 annual membership dues support a wide range of activities such as events for all ages, neighborhood improvement, and community building.

  • Join us at the Elvehjem Neighborhood Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4 at Droster Park, 1429 Droster Road. Be sure to bring your own basket and get there early - we start at 9:30 AM SHARP. Children of all ages and their parents/guardians are welcome. We’ll have a marked separate area near the playground for children age 4 and under. Kids ages 5 and up should gather by the basketball court.

  • All residents of Elvehjem are invited to join us at City Church, 4909 E Buckeye Rd, on Saturday, April 11th at 10am. Meet the ENA Board of Directors, vote on the 2026 budget, learn about neighborhood events and initiatives, mingle with elected officials, and enjoy free pizza, coffee, & refreshments.

  • Celebrate Earth Day with your neighbors and friends by volunteering to clean up your local park! Madison Parks hosts this annual event and provides supplies (rakes, gloves, trash bags). For more info and to register, visit:

  • Make Music Madison is a free, city-wide day of music every June 21st, coinciding with the summer solstice.

  • Our annual celebration begins with the Firecracker 5K at 8:30am, followed by the Bike Parade (line up at 10:45am in front of Elvehjem Elementary) where we parade to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church on Droster Rd.

    The party continues there from 11am-1pm, with live music, refreshments, food trucks, face painting, silent auction, craft fair and more!

  • Join us at Elvehjem Elementary on Saturday, August 22nd from 11am-2pm for a family-friendly, free event!

    The Resource Fair brings local groups dedicated to helping improve lives right to our neighborhood, giving us the chance to connect and give them insight on how they can better serve our community.  Plus, enjoy free ice cream, interactive demonstrations, field games and food trucks!

  • Get your 2026 Thanksgiving morning off to a healthy start with a little fun & friendly exercise! Join us at Droster Park at 8:30am on Thursday, Nov 26th for a 5K run or 1.5-mile walk.
