Get your 2026 Thanksgiving morning off to a healthy start with a little exercise! The Elvehjem Neighborhood Association is again bringing you our annual Turkey Trot.

Join us for a 5k run or 1.5-mile walk - arrive early so that you’re ready to start running at 8:30am sharp.

Interested in helping make the event a success? We are in need of volunteers to help with providing snacks for the finish line, setting up, directing participants along the course, and cleaning up. If you are able to help or have questions, please email Pete: pete@theENA.org.

Bring a food donation! 🥫

While you’re out, consider bringing a non-perishable item for the LaFollette High School Food Pantry. Our school-based pantries help make sure all students can thrive, and we’ll have drop-off bins at the finish line.

High-need items include:

  • Protein: canned tuna, chicken, beans, lentils, peanut butter

  • Whole grains: brown rice, oatmeal, pasta, quinoa, crackers

  • Fruits and vegetables: canned, low-sodium or low-sugar preferred

  • Cooking essentials: oils, pasta sauces, spices, soups

  • Baby essentials: formula, baby food, diapers, hygiene products
